This project involved a substantial extension and full renovation of an existing bungalow, transforming it into a modern, open-plan home with striking kerb appeal. The exterior was completely re-clad in a crisp white render with contrasting black roof tiles, fascias, and window frames, giving the property a bold, contemporary finish. New block work extensions were added to both the front and rear, with large-format bi-fold doors and aluminium windows fitted throughout to maximise light and create a seamless connection between inside and out. Fresh slate paving was laid to the front and rear, complemented by a newly turfed lawn and planted borders.

Inside, the transformation is equally impressive. The rear extension created a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, anchored by a substantial island with a white quartz worktop and integrated hob, finished with grey shaker-style cabinetry and black ironmongery throughout. A large lantern rooflight floods the space with natural light, while bi-fold doors open the room fully to the rear garden. A separate luxury bathroom was fitted with full-height stone-effect tiling, a double vanity unit with oak worktops, a walk-in shower, backlit mirror, and black heated towel rails — all topped by a skylight above. The result is a completely reimagined home that blends modern design with practical, everyday living.
